Banana Moon Harbury is a small family-run nursery in the village of Harbury, Warwickshire. We pride ourselves on seeing everything from the parents’ point of view. We are looking for individuals who have a caring and sensitive nature to cater for the children's needs and help to develop them through play. You must be happy to go home looking mucky; be able to be a superhero on request; be able to create a dinosaur out of junk; have a warm smile that makes every child special; and ultimately be prepared to have a lot of fun and laughter.

We have stripped back a lot of the paperwork associated with nursery roles and instead focus on supporting children's development gaps through inspired play and their interests.

  • Clean DBS.
  • A sound knowledge of child development for children from birth to five years.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the statutory framework for the EYFS and the inspection processes of regulatory bodies.
  • Knowledge of Child Protection procedures.
  • Awareness of purposeful planning, observation and assessment.
  • Not be afraid to be silly and have fun!
Benefits
  • Discount on childcare.
