Banana Moon Day Nurseries is excited to announce an opening for a Room Leader at our vibrant and nurturing nursery. As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and engaging environment for the children in your care. You will be responsible for leading your team in delivering high-quality childcare in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and guiding staff members, providing support and mentoring
  • Planning and implementing an exciting curriculum that caters to children's individual learning needs
  • Building strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress, and engaging them in their child's learning journey
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
  • Contributing to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Proven experience working in a nursery or childcare setting, particularly with children aged 0-5 years
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and health and safety regulations
