Banana Moon Day Nurseries is looking for a motivated Nursery Apprentice Level 2/3 to join our supportive and dynamic team. This apprenticeship position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work towards a nationally recognised qualification in childcare.

As a Nursery Apprentice, you will assist in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years, supporting their development through creative play and learning activities. You will work closely with experienced practitioners to develop your skills and knowledge in early years education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities to promote children's development
  • Support daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, nap times and play sessions
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for children
  • Observe and record children's progress to support individual development plans
  • Build positive relationships with children, their families and the nursery team
Requirements
  • Desire to work with young children and support their learning and development
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and commit to completing the apprenticeship
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to nursery environments
  • No prior childcare experience required but is an advantage
