Banana Moon Day Nurseries is a leading childcare provider dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child. We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and qualified Deputy Nursery Manager who is passionate about early years education and leadership. The Deputy Nursery Manager will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the nursery operates smoothly while providing a nurturing environment for children to thrive.
In this role, you will assist in the day-to-day management of the nursery, oversee staff, and contribute to the development and implementation of an engaging curriculum. You will play a key role in fostering strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider community while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Nursery Manager in all operational aspects of the nursery
- Ensure that the nursery meets high standards of care and education
- Manage and mentor a team of staff, providing guidance and support
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote children's development
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies

Requirements- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a Deputy or similar role within an early years setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and relevant legislation
- Proven experience in managing and developing a team of staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current DBS check and safeguarding training
