Overview
Banana Moon Day Nurseries is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our brand new nursery.
As a Level 2/3 Nursery Practitioner your primary focus will be on supporting the development and well-being of children in our care, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and our own curriculum.
- Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for all children.
- Work collaboratively with your team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
- Uphold nursery policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safeguarding regulations.
Qualifications and skills
- Minimum Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Enhanced DBS check clearance is required.
