We are looking for a proactive and experienced Operations Support Officer to join our Franchise Team on a Hybrid contract. In this field-based role, you will support the operational success of our nursery network, ensuring each franchise location maintains the high standards, values, and mission of the Banana Moon brand. You will work closely with the Head of Franchise Operations to drive efficiency, growth, and profitability across the network, supporting franchisees and nursery managers to optimise performance and deliver excellent outcomes for children and families.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard and train new franchisees in readiness for them to operate their new nursery.
- Conduct pre-opening operational visits at the brand new Banana Moon Nurseries to ensure systems and processes are in place.
- Monitor early operational performance and provide guidance to set new nurseries up for success.
- Review funding allocations, billing practices, and provide guidance to ensure financial compliance.
- Monitor occupancy levels across the network and provide guidance to franchisees on forecasting and occupancy optimisation.
- Lead operational training workshops through the Banana Moon Training Academy.
- Work with external partners and the digital marketing agency to improve operational efficiency and marketing initiatives.
- Attend sector conferences to develop insights and enhance Banana Moon's franchise brand awareness.
- Monitor parent/family satisfaction and provide actionable insights to improve services.
This is a field-based role requiring regular travel to franchise locations across the UK. The role offers flexible, hybrid working, including home-based work and occasional visits to our Warwick-based Franchise Support Office. Occasional overnight stays may be required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years' experience in an early years management role, ideally with multi-site experience.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding legislation.
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Development.
- Prior experience of working within the franchise sector is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to deliver professional training and educational guidance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong and supportive relationships.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Proactive, solution-focused mindset and ability to manage a varied workload.
- Full, UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
This role requires an enhanced DBS check due to regular contact with children.
