Description

Franchise Operations Support Officer

Warwick, UK | Hybrid | Full-Time | £40,000 – £45,000 per annum

Role Overview

Are you passionate about early years education and ready to make a real impact across a growing nursery franchise network? Banana Moon Day Nursery is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Franchise Operations Support Officer to join our Franchise Operations team in Warwick. In this hands-on role, you’ll work directly with franchise nurseries to drive occupancy, improve family experiences, and strengthen operational performance across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on operational support to franchise nurseries, with a clear focus on occupancy growth, customer experience, family retention, and business performance.
  • Conduct nursery visits under the direction of the Head of Franchise Operations, carrying out operational reviews covering enrolment strategy, customer experience, occupancy performance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Support franchisees and nursery managers in implementing action plans to improve occupancy, customer experience, operational consistency, and commercial performance.
  • Assist with the operational onboarding and launch of new franchise locations, ensuring a smooth transition from development to opening day.
  • Coach franchisees and their teams on the effective use of operational systems, tools, and online platforms to improve day-to-day execution.
  • Monitor and report on nursery performance indicators, occupancy trends, customer feedback, and operational observations — escalating concerns and opportunities appropriately.
  • Uphold Banana Moon brand standards and operational expectations across assigned nurseries, providing practical support and guidance where improvements are needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of nursery visits, action plans, follow-up activity, and operational observations to ensure clear documentation and accountability.
  • Contribute to the development of operational tools, templates, visit frameworks, and support resources to drive consistency across the network.
  • Escalate significant concerns or issues requiring specialist intervention to the Head of Franchise Operations or relevant support teams.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an early years or childcare setting, with solid working knowledge of nursery operations and the EYFS framework.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting or coaching nursery teams to improve performance, occupancy, or operational standards.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret occupancy data and business performance metrics and translate them into practical actions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills — confident working with franchisees, nursery managers, and central teams.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple nursery relationships and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to nursery locations across the franchise network.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common digital platforms (email, scheduling tools, online reporting systems).

Desirable

  • Experience in a franchise support, area management, or multi-site operational role.
  • Familiarity with franchise operations models and the specific challenges of supporting owner-operator businesses.
  • Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or a related discipline.
  • Experience using nursery management software or enrolment/CRM platforms.
  • Background in customer experience improvement, service delivery, or operational coaching.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary of £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working model — a balance of nursery visits, home working, and time at our Warwick support office.
  • Private Healthcare Plan
  • Pension Plans
  • Life Assurance
  • Leave Package
  • Training & Development
  • Employee Assistance Programme - Counseling
