Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on operational support to franchise nurseries, with a clear focus on occupancy growth, customer experience, family retention, and business performance.

  • Escalate significant concerns or issues requiring specialist intervention to the Head of Franchise Operations or relevant support teams.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in an early years or childcare setting, with solid working knowledge of nursery operations and the EYFS framework.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting or coaching nursery teams to improve performance, occupancy, or operational standards.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret occupancy data and business performance metrics and translate them into practical actions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills — confident working with franchisees, nursery managers, and central teams.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple nursery relationships and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to nursery locations across the franchise network.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common digital platforms (email, scheduling tools, online reporting systems).

Desirable

  • Experience in a franchise support, area management, or multi-site operational role.
  • Familiarity with franchise operations models and the specific challenges of supporting owner-operator businesses.
  • Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or a related discipline.
  • Experience using nursery management software or enrolment/CRM platforms.
  • Background in customer experience improvement, service delivery, or operational coaching.
