Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, working three days a week. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced childcare professional who is looking to maintain a fulfilling career while enjoying a better work-life balance. As our Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of the nursery, delivering high-quality care and education to our children. In this position, you will assist the Nursery Manager in the operations of the nursery, lead a passionate team, and help foster a nurturing, stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your leadership will ensure that our educational programs are effectively implemented while cultivating strong relationships with families and staff.
Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager in day-to-day operations and management.
- Ensure the nursery operates in compliance with all regulations and best practices.
- Lead and support the nursery team, overseeing their professional development.
- Implement and review educational programs aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Engage with parents and families to build strong, supportive relationships.
- Act as a role model for staff and children, demonstrating best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
