As Nursery Manager, you'll oversee the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, leading and supporting your team while ensuring outstanding care for children and excellent service for families.
You will be responsible for staffing, compliance, occupancy, financial performance, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
By embracing Banana Moon policies and procedures you will consistently meet legislative requirements and follow an enriching education curriculum, achieving the highest possible inspection grading.
You will lead, motivate and develop a passionate early years team by providing guidance, training and support; ensure outstanding care, learning and safeguarding; manage nursery operations, staffing and budgets; build positive relationships with children, families and the local community; maintain compliance with EYFS and statutory requirements; promote the nursery within the local community to support occupancy and enhance reputation; drive continuous improvement and prepare for inspections.
Qualifications
- Full and relevant Level3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- GCSE Maths (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
- At least 5years’ post‑qualification experience in early years
- Minimum of 2years’ nursery management (or similar leadership) experience
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and registered on the update service
- Paediatric 12‑hour First Aid certificate
- Relevant safeguarding training and qualification
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
