Post: Teaching Partner (Teaching Assistant)
Grade: 4 (point 4 - 5)
Hours: 8:30am – 15:30pm three days a week. Working pattern Wednesday – Friday (includes a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break). Term time only (permanent variable hours contract), 19.5 hours per week. Paid overtime to attend some INSET days.
Salary: £25,185 – £25,583 pro rata. Actual salary £11,129 – £11,304. Current hourly rate: £13.05 – £13.26.
Starting date: 1st September 2026.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic part‑time teaching partner to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will deliver the curriculum in a dynamic and engaging way under the direction of the class teacher, provide pastoral support by building trusting relationships with children, and support positive playtimes through supervising the whole‑school Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) programme.
