Bampton CE Primary School and Nursery are looking to appoint a highly organised and efficient Administrative Assistant to work alongside our Office Manager in the school office. The Administrative Assistant will work under the direction of the Headteacher and Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Main responsibilities revolve around effective communication and the successful candidate will have excellent computing skills.

  • Grade: 4 Scale Point 4-5
  • Salary: £26,016 - £26,428 pro rata (equates to an annual salary of £21,126 - £21,461)
  • Hours: 8.30am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday) including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, therefore a total of 35 hours per week working 39 weeks a year which is term time + INSET Days.
  • Start Date: Monday 2nd November or sooner if possible.
  • Closing Date: Wednesday 7th October 2026
