About the Role
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. You'll help ensure smooth, efficient service throughout the restaurant, always going the extra mile to make every visit special. Previous experience is a plus, but not essential—we welcome applications from anyone with a background in similar roles and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the restaurant is set up for service, respecting restaurant-specific standards.
- Assist with the duties of the bar, making coffee and tea.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and exceed guest expectations.
- Ensure all work equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware are always perfectly polished, in good condition, and stocked where needed.
- Have thorough knowledge of all dishes and beverages on the menu, bringing them "to life" in conversation with guests, and be aware of all potential allergens.
- Maintain constant attentive eye on the timing and flow of service at your tables, highlighting any delays to your manager.
- Ensure all bills presented to guests are correct and are cashed off correctly.
- Bring our purpose to life by driving meaningful social and environmental improvements, contributing to our journey as a B Corp, and aligning with our sustainability vision.
- Inspire and empower customers, suppliers and partners to live and work more consciously, creating a lasting positive impact on the world.

The on-target earning potential for this role is £32,469.20 per annum based on a 45-hour contract - comprising a base salary of £28,969.20, plus a qualified estimate of £3,500 in gratuities and service charge. Please note this role is paid hourly so this is a projected salary and OTE.
About gratuities & service charge: Gratuities are paid on a pro-rata basis. It is estimated that in 2025, our full-time employees can expect to receive in the range of £3,500 in addition to their annual salary.
