Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Rochdale, is looking to recruit an experienced Projects & Manufacturing Engineer to join their Technical Sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional to play a key role in new project introduction, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination within a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Sales teams to ensure the successful delivery of customer projects while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate new product introduction and development projects
- Manage cross-functional project activities across Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Sales
- Drive process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to support smooth project implementation
- Prepare project status updates and support NPI activities
- Maintain accurate specifications, BOMs, routings, and project documentation within the ERP system
