Job Title00 Location: Batley, WF17 Start Date: 2nd February 2026 Duration: Temp  – 9 weeks ongoing  Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm (39-hour week) Rate: £200 Per Day About the Role We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman to support an external refurbishment project in Batley. The project consists of various external repair and upgrade works, the majority of which are packaged out to specialist subcontractors. You will act as the primary on-site presence, managing day-to-day activity, coordinating trades, ensuring H&S compliance, and serving as the first point of contact for residents. You will be supported by a QS and Construction Manager, who will attend site weekly and for client progress meetings. Candidates with a multi-trade background are particularly desirable, as there may be opportunities to undertake some of the smaller, localised repair tasks around the site. Working Foreman Key Responsibilities Oversee daily site operations and ensure works progress in line with programme. Coordinate subcontractors and ensure quality of workmanship. Maintain site safety, housekeeping, and compliance with H&S standards. Act as the main on-site contact for residents, addressing queries and concerns. Carry out minor localised repairs where applicable. Liaise with the QS and Construction Manager for updates and progress reviews. Monitor deliveries, site access, and overall site logistics. Maintain accurate records and communication with the wider team. Working Foreman Project Overview The project involves external refurbishment works including: Decorations Localised render repairs Rainwater goods repairs Roof repairs Joinery repairs Installation of new bay windows New curtain walling Replacement of communal entrances Concrete balcony renewals New balcony doors Installation of bathroom and kitchen extractor fans Working Foreman Requirements Preferred certifications: SMSTS / SSSTS / Gold CSCS (Not strictly required — competent candidates with relevant experience and Asbestos + First Aid awareness will be considered.)
