Bamford Contract Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to work on social housing and tenanted properties across the Warrington area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Painter & Decorator looking for steady, ongoing work with a well-established recruitment company.

Previous experience working within occupied or tenanted properties is essential, as the successful candidate will be required to work neatly, professionally and respectfully within customers' homes.

The Painter & Decorator Role

  • Full internal decoration of social housing properties
  • Painting walls, ceilings and woodwork
  • Filling holes and carrying out making-good works
  • Skimming where required
  • Preparation of surfaces prior to decoration
  • General painting and decorating
  • Achieving a consistently high standard of finish
  • Keeping work areas clean and tidy
  • Working respectfully within occupied properties

Painter & Decorator Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
  • Previous experience working within social housing or tenanted properties
  • Excellent preparation and finishing skills
  • The ability to work neatly and professionally in occupied homes
  • Own tools, including brushes, rollers, dust sheets and associated equipment
  • Own vehicle
  • A reliable and punctual approach
  • Excellent standards of cleanliness and tidiness
  • A polite and professional manner
