We are currently recruiting for an experienced Housekeeper on behalf of a well-established Build to Rent residential development in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity to join a professional on-site team and help maintain high standards across a modern residential building.
Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all communal areas, facilities and shared spaces are maintained to exceptional standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation. You will also assist with reporting minor maintenance issues and responding to resident queries where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning communal floor coverings including mopping, sweeping and vacuuming foyers, stairwells, lifts and lobbies
- Dusting and polishing balustrades, handrails, skirting boards and windowsills
- Cleaning lift interiors and exteriors, ensuring mirrors and panels are smear-free
- Cleaning all communal glazing, mirrors, doors and vision panels
- Emptying and cleaning external ashtrays safely
- Removing cobwebs from window recesses, door frames and light fittings
- Wiping down skirting boards, light switches, door plates and fixtures
- Completing daily cleaning inspection checklists
- Monitoring and requesting cleaning supplies as needed
- Reporting health & safety issues promptly
- Providing excellent customer service to residents, including assisting with queries and meter readings
- Supporting with any additional reasonable duties requested by site management
