Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker

Location: Oldham
Contract: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £18 – £21 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 4:00pm | Friday, 7:00am – 12:00pm

We’re looking for a Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established engineering company based in Oldham. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled and supportive team, producing high‑quality fabricated components for a variety of industries.

You’ll be involved in all aspects of sheet metal work, assisting in the fabrication and finishing of parts to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with sheet metal of various thicknesses
• Operating machinery such as press brakes, guillotines, and rollers
• Bending, folding, cutting, and assembling sheet metal components
• Finishing and grinding to a high standard
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently

About You

• Previous experience in sheet metal or light fabrication work
• Ability to work accurately and with attention to detail
• Good understanding of workshop health & safety
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team
