On behalf of our client based in Rochdale, we are recruiting an experienced Coded TIG / Stick Welder to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking for long-term work, competitive pay, regular overtime, and the chance to secure a permanent position with a respected employer.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out coded TIG welding on high-integrity cryogenic pressure vessels and fabrications.
- Perform TIG and Stick welding to a high standard.
- Complete tubular welding and fabrication work.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.
- Prepare, finish, and inspect precision-engineered components.
- Ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards.
- Carry out general fabrication and welding duties as required.
About You
- Time-served experience as a Coded TIG / Stick Welder.
- Valid or previously held welding codings (preferred).
- Experience welding pressure vessels, pipework, or similar high-integrity fabrications.
- The ability to accurately read and work from engineering drawings.
- Experience with tubular welding.
- A strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and safe working practices.
- Availability to start immediately.
