We are looking for a reliable and experienced Production Operative with a strong eye for quality to join our client in Rochdale. This role is ideal for someone who has a solid background in manufacturing and some exposure to quality inspection. You will play a key role in ensuring products meet required standards while supporting the production team.

Working Hours: 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am 1:00pm, 39 hours per week, £13.56 per hour, Approx. £27,500 per year

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Checking products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Identifying and reporting faults or defects
  • Supporting investigations and rework where needed
  • Carrying out basic quality checks and audits
  • Recording data and completing reports
  • Working closely with production and supervisors
  • Supporting the team on the shop floor when required

What Our Client is Looking For:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (essential)
  • A strong eye for quality and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable (Not Essential):

  • Experience working as an inspector in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with quality practices, inspection, testing, and documentation
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Team leadership or supervisory experience
