Contract Type - Temp to perm, immediate start.
Due to a busy order book, our client based in Rochdale is looking for a number of Packing Operatives to join their team on a temp to perm basis. This is a great opportunity to join a well-known and established family firm who invest in staff development and training.
Hours are 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm Mon-Thursday and 6am 11:30am / 11:30am - 5pm Fridays. (1-2 weeks on 7:30-3:30pm whilst training). £12.21 ph. whilst on training and £14.65 ph. when on shifts.
The role will involve packing finished products in accordance with agreed packaging standards and to generally support the packing and despatch team. The successful packer will be quality checking goods and then packing them for distribution.
Key tasks & Responsibilities:
- To receive products for packaging
- To ensure product is in suitable condition
- To package and label products
- To maintain good housekeeping standards
- To report any concerns to the Manager
- To work flexibly as part of the team and to support other team members as required
