We are currently looking for an experienced General Builder / Multi-Trade Operative to support an external refurbishment project in Batley. The project consists of various external repair and upgrade works. This is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work with a reputable contractor, carrying out a variety of tasks on site.

Multi-Trade Operative Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Stripping roof overhang back to main roof and making good with associated joinery.
  • Re-pointing brickwork sills.
  • Re-pointing ridges and verges.
  • Sand and cement render patches.
  • Removing window units and timber cladding.
  • Install threshold lintels.
  • Basic brickwork and patch repairs.
  • Joinery tasks.
  • Plastering and patching.
  • Snagging and finishing works.
  • General site labouring and support duties.

Multi-Trade Operative Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Own tools (for multi-trade role) preferred.
  • CSCS card preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
