Bamford Contract Services are currently recruiting for experienced Joiners / Kitchen Fitters to work on long-term, ongoing social housing projects across Manchester and surrounding areas. We have a consistent pipeline of work available and are looking for reliable, skilled tradespeople who are available for an immediate or upcoming start.

The Joiner / Kitchen Fitter Role:

Working on social housing properties across Manchester and the surrounding areas, you will be carrying out a range of joinery and kitchen fitting works, including kitchen installations, repairs, replacements and associated maintenance. The work will suit an experienced Joiner, Kitchen Fitter, Multi-Trader or Maintenance Joiner who is confident working independently in occupied and unoccupied properties.

Joiner / Kitchen Fitter Duties may include:

  • Kitchen fitting and installation.
  • Removal and replacement of existing kitchens.
  • First and second fix joinery.
  • Fitting kitchen units, doors, worktops and associated components.
  • General joinery repairs and maintenance.
  • Door hanging and adjustments.
  • Skirting boards, architraves and other joinery works.
  • Making good and associated remedial works.
  • Working within social housing properties.
  • Completing work to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Liaising professionally with tenants, site teams and management.

Joiner / Kitchen Fitter Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Joiner / Kitchen Fitter.
  • Proven experience carrying out kitchen installations and joinery works.
  • Social housing or maintenance experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Good standard of workmanship.
  • Reliable and professional approach.
  • Own vehicle and tools essential.
  • CSCS or relevant trade qualifications advantageous.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • CIS registered or able to work through CIS.
