Bamford Contract Services are currently recruiting for experienced Floor Layers to join our client on long-term social housing projects. If you have experience with floor screeding and sheet vinyl flooring, we want to hear from you.

The Floor Layer Role:

  • Working within occupied and void social housing properties, you'll be responsible for preparing subfloors and installing high-quality sheet vinyl flooring to domestic properties.

Floor Layer Duties Include:

  • Preparing floors ready for installation
  • Floor screeding and subfloor preparation
  • Installing sheet vinyl flooring to a high standard
  • Working in occupied and void social housing properties
  • Completing work efficiently while maintaining excellent quality standards
  • Ensuring a clean and safe working environment

Floor Layer Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Floor Layer
  • Experience with floor screeding
  • Experience installing sheet vinyl flooring
  • Previous social housing or domestic property experience preferred
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Own tools
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Checkable references
