Bamford Contract Services are currently recruiting for experienced Floor Layers to join our client on long-term social housing projects. If you have experience with floor screeding and sheet vinyl flooring, we want to hear from you.
The Floor Layer Role:
- Working within occupied and void social housing properties, you'll be responsible for preparing subfloors and installing high-quality sheet vinyl flooring to domestic properties.
Floor Layer Duties Include:
- Preparing floors ready for installation
- Floor screeding and subfloor preparation
- Installing sheet vinyl flooring to a high standard
- Working in occupied and void social housing properties
- Completing work efficiently while maintaining excellent quality standards
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment
Floor Layer Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floor Layer
- Experience with floor screeding
- Experience installing sheet vinyl flooring
- Previous social housing or domestic property experience preferred
- Valid CSCS Card
- Own tools
- Full UK driving licence and own transport preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Checkable references
