On behalf of our manufacturing client based in the Littleborough area, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Fibreglass Laminator / Production Operative to join their growing team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term employment with a well-established and thriving company offering regular overtime and genuine progression opportunities.

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Wednesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm (Early finish every Friday)

Pay & Benefits:

  • £14.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Overtime available paid at time and a half
  • Temp-to-perm position with long-term job security

The Role:

The successful candidate will be working within a busy manufacturing environment producing fibreglass components for the automotive industry. Duties will include:

  • Preparing materials including gel and resin
  • Applying gel coats to moulds
  • Laminating layers of fibreglass
  • Working from moulds and production specifications
  • Maintaining quality and safety standards on the shop floor

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous paid experience in fibreglass laminating is ESSENTIAL
  • Experience gelling and preparing moulds in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production setting
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • A trade test will form part of the recruitment process
