Are you an experienced Engineering professional looking for a new role? Our client, based in Rochdale, is seeking an Electrical Switchgear & Control Foreman to join their team. With a focus on providing Engineering solutions across various industries, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the production of switchgear.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
- Develop and improve production and testing processes and procedures.
- Conduct final quality checks on switchgear and panels.
- Coordinate and supervise shop floor and testing personnel.
- Perform QA on switchgear and panels as required.
- Occasionally assist with switchgear installations on site.
- Support the production office with running lists.
- Adhere to company ISO9001 and QA documentation.
Qualifications/Experience
- Excellent engineering skills.
- Some experience in testing.
- Ability to read schematic drawings and troubleshoot problems.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to effectively engage with customers.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Valid driving licence.
