SHOPFITTER

RETAIL FURNITURE INSTALLER

Location: Nationwide – Main office based in Rochdale
Work: Nights – after store closing
Rate: £25 per hour CIS

Bamford Contract Services are currently looking for an experienced Shopfitter / Retail Furniture Installer to join a nationwide installation team.

The work will involve travelling to Pets at Home stores across the country, installing and assembling reception desks and other retail fixtures. The work will be carried out at night after stores have closed.

You will work as part of a team of two, alongside an in-house member of staff, completing installations efficiently and to a high standard.

The Shopfitter Role

  • Installing and assembling reception desks and retail furniture
  • Working within Pets at Home stores nationwide
  • Working as part of a team of two, alongside an in-house staff member
  • Night-time work, generally after stores have closed
  • Travelling to different locations across the UK
  • Working away from home when required
  • Ensuring installations are completed to a high standard
  • Leaving the work area clean and tidy
  • Following instructions and working safely within each store

What We're Looking for in a Shopfitter

  • Previous experience in furniture assembly, shopfitting, retail installation or a similar role
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Good practical skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working nights
  • Happy to travel and stay away from home during the working week
  • Reliable, professional and able to work well as part of a team
  • CSCS or relevant site experience would be advantageous
