Bamford Contract Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a social housing kitchen refurbishment project. We are looking for a hands-on Site Manager with proven experience managing social housing, kitchen refurbishment or planned maintenance projects, together with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple trades on site.
The Site Manager Role
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Managing and coordinating multi-trade teams on site.
- Overseeing kitchen refurbishment and installation programmes.
- Managing approximately 10 kitchens per week.
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades.
- Monitoring progress and ensuring programmes are maintained.
- Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks.
- Ensuring all works comply with health & safety requirements.
- Liaising with residents, clients, subcontractors and the project team.
- Dealing with any site issues and resolving problems efficiently.
- Maintaining site records and reporting on progress.
- Ensuring works are completed to the required specification and standard.
Site Manager Requirements
- Previous Site Management experience.
- Proven experience within social housing / housing refurbishment.
- Experience managing kitchen refurbishment or kitchen installation projects.
- Experience managing multiple trades.
- Ability to manage a programme of approximately 10 kitchens per week.
- SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage a busy site and keep works progressing to programme.
