ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Systems Analyst who will support and enhance the performance of supply chain operations within a fast-paced retail environment by leveraging data-driven insights and robust system solutions.

This role will focus on optimising supply chain systems, ensuring data integrity, and enabling efficient decision-making through data tools and automation. You will work closely with supply chain, IT, and commercial teams to ensure systems are aligned with business needs and scalable for growth.

Based at our Daylesford Farm office in the Cotswolds, this role is full time, 40 hours per week.

Salary £45,000 – £55,000 per annum.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To analyse and improve supply chain systems and processes to support retail and wholesale operations, including inventory management, and demand planning.
  • Maintain and develop database systems (e.g., SQL Server) and data integration tools (e.g., SSIS) to ensure accurate and timely data flow across platforms.
  • Design and automate reports and dashboards using Excel, VBA, and other BI tools to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate and drive technically driven processes (e.g. stocktake, financial reconciliations).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements.
  • Monitor data quality and system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a supply chain systems or data analysis role, ideally within the retail sector and FMCG.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL Server, including writing queries and managing data pipelines (e.g. SSIS).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA, for automation and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software (e.g., WMS, forecasting tools).
  • An understanding of retail supply chain operations, including inventory, logistics, and merchandising.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset and an eye for pattern-matching.
  • Effective communicator, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated and continually curious.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer-focused attitude.
