We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Distribution & Logistics Manager to lead our end-to-end logistics operations and ensure our products move more efficiently, sustainably, and seamlessly across the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Senior Distribution & Logistics Manager, you will oversee the entire logistics network for the Bamford Collection, ensuring our supply chain is robust, cost-effective, and aligned with our sustainability values. You will lead distribution planning, warehouse operations, stock movement, and third-party logistics relationships to support our rapidly growing multi-channel business, including retail, e-commerce, hospitality, and wholesale. This role requires a leader who combines operational excellence with strong commercial awareness and a passion for continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop the logistics and distribution function, ensuring efficient, timely, and accurate product flow across all channels.
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock accuracy, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce waste.
- Manage relationships with carriers, 3PL partners, and suppliers, negotiating rates and service levels to optimise performance and cost.
- Implement strategies that support scalability, operational resilience, and alignment with our sustainability commitments.
- Analyse data and performance metrics to drive improvements in service, cost efficiency, and supply chain responsiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with retail, e-commerce, production, finance, and sustainability teams to forecast, plan, and support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, and safety standards across logistics and distribution operations.
- Lead business continuity planning for supply chain and distribution functions.
ABOUT YOU
- Significant experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain leadership within a fast-paced retail, FMCG, or hospitality environment.
- Proven track record of optimising operations, improving efficiencies, and implementing scalable systems.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, quality, and service priorities.
- Excellent leadership skills, capable of motivating teams through periods of change and growth.
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in logistics systems and reporting tools.
- Passion for sustainability, conscious business practices, and continuous improvement.
