ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and creative Product Assistant to join our Home team, playing a key role in shaping thoughtfully curated home collections across the Bamford Collection. Working closely with the Head of Home Design, you will support the development of beautifully designed products from concept through to launch, ensuring each collection is clearly communicated and understood across the wider business. With a strong eye for detail and a genuine passion for lifestyle and homeware brands, you will work collaboratively with the Home Design, Range, and Supply teams to help deliver inspiring, high-quality collections. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a purpose-led brand rooted in craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless design, where considered product development and attention to detail sit at the heart of everything we do. This role is full time, 40 hours and based in the office 5 days a week. Salary up to £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Head of Home Design across all stages of product launches, ensuring smooth and timely delivery.
  • Provide end-to-end support in the creation of new product SKUs and purchase orders, including barcode generation, labelling requirements, and clear communication of packaging specifications to suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product databases for both Daylesford and Bamford, capturing pricing changes, minimum order quantities, and purchase order amendments as required.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all production, packaging, and compliance information is shared clearly and actioned efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain departmental critical paths and product trackers, closely monitoring deliveries and keeping key stakeholders including Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Help Teams fully informed of incoming products.
  • Oversee label management across both brands, including the sharing of information and stock with partners where applicable.
  • Coordinate and organise product samples for photography, campaigns, events, and shoots across the business.
  • Support the product development process through competitive analysis, data gathering, and tracking market trends to inform and shape the Home category strategy.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects as required, including acting as the Home team representative for ERP-related initiatives.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn, with the ability to work effectively to short and changing deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset, able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in buying, purchasing, merchandising, or supply chain environments would be advantageous.
  • Highly organised and confident multitasker, able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, with experience using project management tools such as Asana and Trello.
  • Analytical and curious, with a willingness to learn how to assess data, market trends, and potential risks.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage workloads, deadlines, and responsibilities independently.
