We are looking for an experienced and passionate Events F&B Operations Manager responsible for leading and overseeing all food and beverage operations for public and private events at Daylesford Farm. This exciting role ensures the seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences by managing event service, coordinating with our kitchens and front-of-house teams, maintaining high standards of presentation, timing, and operational efficiency. You will need to be a key operational leader, accountable for the preparation, staging, and management of all event equipment and service kits, as well as the smooth flow of food and beverage service during events, acting as a central link between chefs, service teams, and management, ensuring adherence to allergy procedures, health and safety standards, and Bamford Collection brand values. This role will be based at the Daylesford Farm in Gloucestershire. 40 hours per week and may include some weekends. Salary £45,000 per annum dependant on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on, proactive approach to operational management, a strong focus on detail, and the ability to represent the Bamford Collection brand to guests, suppliers, and colleagues, ensuring every event reflects the company’s ethos of quality, hospitality, and excellence.
  • Deliver exceptional food and beverage experiences at public and private events, ensuring every detail reflects the Bamford Collection’s standards of excellence.
  • Lead and inspire on-site teams to create seamless, memorable events, providing guidance, support, and a polished guest experience.
  • Collaborate closely with chefs to curate menus that celebrate quality, seasonality, and sustainability, while expertly managing dietary and allergen requirements.
  • Oversee inventory, equipment, and financial processes with precision, ensuring every aspect of event operations runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Act as a key operational partner to internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring events are flawlessly executed from planning through to completion.
  • Champion compliance with food safety, health & safety, licensing, and fire regulations, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, organisation, and operational excellence.
  • Embody the Bamford Collection’s ethos in every interaction, representing the brand with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail.

Skills you will bring

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage Operations role, ideally within luxury events, hospitality, or luxury venues.
  • Strong operational knowledge of food and beverage service at scale.
  • Experience managing inventory, equipment, and stock control.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Confident communicator with a calm, professional approach under pressure.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong client-facing and relationship management abilities.
