ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Housekeeping team deliver outstanding service to guests staying in our beautifully designed Daylesford Stays rooms, suites, and cottages, ensuring they experience luxurious comfort, cleanliness, and the warm hospitality for which we are known. Our team uphold the highest standards of presentation and hygiene, carrying out daily room cleans and maintaining all guest and public areas to an impeccable level. Through our thoroughness, organisation, and pride in work, they help create memorable stays and contribute to the welcoming, serene environment that defines Daylesford Stays.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean, refresh, and prepare guest rooms, suites, and cottages daily, ensuring they meet Daylesford Stays’ premium luxury standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort.
- Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms and communal areas in line with brand standards.
- Support in maintaining all public, communal, and shared spaces to ensure they remain spotless, tidy, and inviting throughout the day.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or missing items promptly to the management team to ensure guest safety and uninterrupted comfort.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role within hospitality, leisure, or a similar environment is desirable.
- Strong understanding of cleaning standards, hygiene practices, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and maintain consistency across rooms and public areas.
