ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a passionate Café Supervisor for The Bamford Wellness Spa based at the Daylesford Farm in the Cotswolds.
As our supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the service standards along with supervising and inspiring a small team and champion our Bamford mission for healthy living.

HOURS: 40 Hours a week – 09:00-17:30, 5 days a week, including weekend work.
SALARY: £13.80 per hour.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and motivate a team fostering a positive work culture.
- Always aiming to exceed the expectations of our guests by anticipating their needs to provide a pro-active service.
- To work as a consummate host to our guests & residents.
- To ensure the Orchard bar café is set up for the day, maintaining standards and delegating tasks where appropriate.
- To actively drive average, spend per head, by identifying all opportunities for recommendations.
- To train the team on the menu, including beverages, enabling them to give detailed descriptions of the dishes, provide recommendations for guests and give accurate allergens advice.
- To ensure effective shift management, leading and motivating the team, delivering a seamless and ensuring that the café is staffed for all shifts whilst managing holiday and absence.
- To manage the operation effectively, maximising sales through table turning.
- Work alongside the kitchen on continuous development of food and beverage offerings.
- To highlight health and safety or maintenance matters to the Spa Manager.

- Previous experience in supervising a small team in a café or restaurant.
- Always aim to exceed the expectations of our guests by anticipating their needs to provide a pro-active service.
- To enjoy yourself at work in order to create a happy work environment.
- Willing to get stuck in and drive the business forward.
- Great communicator and ability to work with other leaders within the business.
- A positive and outgoing personality
