ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and personable Bartender/Barista to join our brilliant team at Daylesford Farm, working across our award-winning Trough Restaurant and vibrant Old Spot Restaurant. If you love creating memorable experiences and thrive in a warm, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you. You’ll have experience in a café or restaurant setting but just as important is your energy, positivity, and natural ability to make people feel welcome. At Daylesford, we do things differently, our luxury restaurants celebrate seasonal, farm-to-fork dining in a relaxed yet refined setting. As a Bartender/Barista, you won’t just be serving drinks you’ll be at the heart of our guest experience, crafting exceptional coffees and beverages while bringing the Daylesford story to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, answer questions about the menu, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages, as well as food items, following established recipes and quality standards.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant by cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and the overall environment regularly.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations, including restocking supplies, assisting in inventory management, and supporting each other during busy periods.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment as a café or restaurant team member would be highly advantageous, but not a necessity as full training will be given.
- Daylesford is open 7 days a week, so flexibility to cover a variety of shifts including weekends is essential.
- People with a passion for delivering extraordinary customer service.
