Purpose of Post : Wrightbus is a fast-moving company which has experienced considerable growth in the last year. As part of this continued growth, we are looking for an additional Vehicle and Systems Approval Engineer to join our Homologation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the approval of product(s) produced by the Company for both national and international markets, and for working with internal departments and external partners to obtain the necessary system and vehicles approvals. The role will also involve periodic assessments to demonstrate ongoing compliance to the technical requirements granted for all approved vehicles. Key Tasks: Responsible, in conjunction with other departments, for integrating the European approval process into the current Wrightbus vehicle approval process. Responsible, in conjunction with other departments, for obtaining ECWVTA, NSSTA or IVA for specified Wrightbus products. Responsible, for the impact assessment of legislation and regulations associated with the design, manufacture and use of buses in any country in which the Company seek business opportunities.
