We are therefore recruiting a Quality Technician for the Bicester, Oxfordshire site. The Quality Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring that all vehicles manufactured meet company and regulatory quality standards. This position is responsible for inspecting components, assemblies, and finished products to identify defects, enforce quality control processes, and collaborate with production teams to maintain high standards of workmanship.
The Role:
Quality Inspection, Auditing & Testing:
· Conduct inspections of inbound vehicles, materials, in-process production, and finished vehicles to ensure compliance with specifications.
· Perform functional and safety tests on electrical, mechanical, and structural components of buses.
· Use measuring tools and testing equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances, and performance criteria.
· Identify and document defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
