Our mission is to provide efficient, sustainable, and innovative solutions to reduce our carbon footprint. Wrightbus Refurbishment supports Wrightbus as the fastest growing manufacturing company in Europe. We are therefore recruiting a Coachbuilder for the Bicester, Oxfordshire site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building the vehicle to specification, to a high quality within the agreed timeframe.
The Role:- Fabrication of complex parts and assemblies to support the manufacturing process.
- Reading and working from complex part and assembly drawings and schematics and following verbal instructions.
- Moving between several distinct operations whilst maintaining high quality workmanship and overall efficiency.
- Fitting and assembly of metal, wood and laminate components to vehicles during the assembly process in accordance with the customer and build specifications.
- Safe operation of plant, equipment and/or hand tools associated with the manufacture, fitting or assembly of components.
- Compliance with the company’s Health and Safety procedures.
- Undertaking training or retraining associated with the post or the introduction of new working practices and training other colleagues.
- Ensure work is completed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
- You must co-operate with others on health and safety and not interfere with, or misuse, anything provided for their health, safety, or welfare.
- Time Served in relevant discipline e.g. Fitter, Mechanic, plumber OR 4 years chassis experience.
- Relevant experience using a variety of hand, power and air tools.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Awareness of general Health and Safety rules.

- Early: Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:30 and Friday - 06:00 - 12:00
- Late: Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 22:30 and Friday 12:00 - 18:00
- Shifts are on a two-week rotation.
