We are Bambuser, and we are reshaping commerce. In B2B today, attention is hard to earn. Retail and e-commerce leaders are constantly flooded with cold outreach, generic SaaS messaging, and tools all promising growth. Most of it gets ignored. The people who succeed in outbound today are the ones who know how to spark curiosity and earn attention. That’s where you come in.
We operate in Video Commerce, helping over 250 of the world’s most iconic brands (LVMH, Audi, Sisley Paris, Sephora, Benefit, Decathlon, Sonos) adapt to the new way people want to shop online. People no longer want to browse through endless static grids of products. They want to see, ask, and buy because they trust what they’re seeing. That evolution is happening through video, and that’s exactly what we help brands bring into their online shopping experiences.
As a Business Development Representative at Bambuser, your role is to help leading brands adapt to the future shoppers already expect.
About the role
As a Business Development Representative at Bambuser, you’ll play a key role in how we create pipeline and open new commercial opportunities across priority markets. Success here comes from understanding how to earn attention, create curiosity, and start conversations that actually resonate with senior stakeholders in retail and e-commerce. You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Growth and Customer Success to identify high-potential accounts, experiment with outreach strategies, and help build stronger market presence through thoughtful, localized prospecting.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, commercially curious, and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership. Someone who enjoys figuring things out, experimenting, iterating, and continuously improving how they work.
What you’ll do
- Own outbound prospecting across priority markets through LinkedIn, email, phone outreach, events, and creative outbound approaches.
- Identify and engage high-potential retailers and e-commerce brands, building qualified pipeline opportunities for the commercial team.
- Research accounts, stakeholders, and market context to create relevant and personalized outreach.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to support pipeline generation and commercial growth.
- Experiment with messaging, outreach strategies, sequencing, and social selling approaches to continuously improve performance.
- Contribute to market visibility and relationship-building through virtual and in-person events.
- Maintain high standards around CRM hygiene, prospect tracking, and outbound workflows.
- Continuously improve how you work by identifying smarter, more scalable ways to prospect and engage customers.
Who you are
We believe you’re someone who combines strong people instincts and an eye for effective hooks with relentless experimentation and consistent execution. You’re proactive, curious, and comfortable operating at speed. We hope you're excited for an opportunity to combine your stellar communication skills, commercial thinking, and creativity to drive growth!
We believe you should have:
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales development, or another customer-facing commercial role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Confidence engaging stakeholders through outbound outreach, social selling, networking, and events.
- A structured and self-led way of working, with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
- Curiosity around what makes outreach effective, and a willingness to experiment, iterate, and continuously improve.
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.
- High standards around organization, CRM hygiene, and pipeline management.
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is considered a strong merit.
- Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, retail, or startup/scale-up environments is considered a plus.
