As a Senior Paid Media Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our ongoing success, utilising a variety of tools and AI, and supporting in managing a diverse client portfolio of both eCommerce and Lead Generation clients. At Bamboo Nine, we believe in empowering our team members. This role can serve as a stepping stone, with the potential to progress into a managerial role. In the future, you may have the opportunity to move into a people management position, where you will lead and develop a team, or an account management role, where you will take ownership of client relationships and drive results. Whichever managerial path you choose, you will also contribute to the development of the Paid Media department by sharing ideas, providing strategic input, and playing an active role in decision-making that helps shape the direction and growth of the department.

Key responsibilities

  • Creating, managing and optimising Paid Media campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including keyword, audience and competitor research to support evidence‐led decision making.
  • Supporting integrated multi‐channel strategies by collaborating closely with the Organic, Data, Creative and Tech teams to deliver aligned client outcomes.
  • Managing campaign budgets, pacing and bid strategies to achieve KPIs—including CPA, ROAS, lead quality and revenue growth.
  • Taking ownership of campaign performance through continuous optimisation across targeting, ad copy, audience segmentation, landing pages and account structure.
  • Monitoring campaign performance daily and proactively identifying opportunities, issues and trends to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Acting as a key day‐to‐day contact for assigned clients, building trusted relationships through transparent communication and commercially focused recommendations.
  • Analysing campaign and website performance data using platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and Looker Studio to generate actionable insights.
  • Supporting attribution, tracking and data accuracy through collaboration with the Data team, including GA4, Google Tag Manager, Consent Mode and enhanced conversion tracking.
  • Conducting A/B testing across ad creatives, landing pages, audience strategies and bidding approaches to improve campaign performance and ROI.
  • Supporting conversion rate optimisation (CRO) initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve user journey performance and lead quality.
  • Producing detailed reports and presenting campaign insights, strategic recommendations and performance updates internally and to clients.
  • Supporting audits for prospective and existing clients by identifying strategic opportunities, performance issues and areas for growth.
  • Assisting with forecasting, budget planning and seasonal strategy recommendations using historical performance data and market trends.
  • Reviewing and optimising product feeds within Google Merchant Center to improve Shopping and Performance Max campaign performance.
  • Staying informed on platform developments, automation features, AI‐led optimisation and wider Paid Media best practices to ensure campaigns remain competitive.
  • Contributing to a collaborative agency culture through knowledge sharing, process improvement and cross‐team support.

Key skills required

  • Proficiency in using analytics tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other relevant platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google Analytics 4.
  • Experience managing Search, Shopping, Performance Max and remarketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of conversion tracking, attribution models, enhanced conversions and consent/privacy considerations.
  • Ability to analyse campaign performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Understanding of bidding strategies, budget allocation and optimisation techniques to maximise ROI and achieve KPI targets.
  • Experience using reporting and visualisation platforms such as Looker Studio.
  • Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to write compelling, conversion‐focused ad copy tailored to different audiences and objectives.
  • Experience conducting structured A/B testing and interpreting results to drive performance improvements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
  • Strong client relationship management and account handling skills.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of how Paid Media activity contributes to wider business objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities within deadlines in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Understanding of landing page experience, CRO principles and user journey optimisation.
  • Awareness of automation, AI‐led bidding strategies and machine‐learning driven campaign management approaches.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
  • Experience or understanding of Paid Social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok) or Programmatic advertising would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with data feeds, Google Merchant Center or eCommerce campaigns would be advantageous.
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting or media planning would be advantageous.
