Working within a business unit, the role will be varied and fast-paced and you will be expected to take the lead on projects such as meetings and events, advisory boards, webinars, training slides, websites, e-learning, videos, articles, and educational/promotional materials. You will be directly responsible for quoting, planning, implementing, and measuring the outcomes of your projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest quality on-time and on-budget. Within your close-knit team, you will help to develop junior members, building their knowledge and expertise, contributing to the success of the team and the ongoing growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities- Project management: Lead projects, keeping them on schedule, on budget, and to brief. Manage junior staff, production team, writers and third-party suppliers, and keep ahead of evolving client requirements.
- Client service: Develop strong relationships with clients, provide clear status updates, solve problems and identify opportunities to expand the account.
- Team working: Build and train client-services staff and work collaboratively across teams.
- Growth: Identify opportunities to expand accounts and improve efficiencies.
- Financial and quality control: Maintain and uphold financial and quality control processes with a high level of scrutiny and attention to detail.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical communications agency or similar roles in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (degree in communications, marketing or similar considered).
- Experienced in running multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Veeva PromoMats.
- Understanding of the ABPI and EFPIA.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
