We are looking for a Market Research Analyst to support the growth of its ecommerce, appliance resale, software solutions, and AI-enabled business services. The successful candidate will conduct market, customer, competitor, product, pricing, supplier, ecommerce, and commercial research to support evidence-based business decisions. The role will involve analysing the UK graded appliance market, digital marketplace trends, customer demand, competitor pricing, supplier opportunities, and new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research across the UK appliance resale, graded stock, ecommerce, local retail, and digital services sectors.
  • Analyse competitor pricing, customer demand, product trends, supplier options, and marketplace activity.
  • Prepare market research reports, pricing studies, dashboards, customer insight summaries, and commercial recommendation papers.
  • Research supplier, clearance, liquidation, wholesale, and graded stock opportunities.
  • Analyse ecommerce performance across websites, eBay, TikTok Shop, social commerce, and other marketplaces.
  • Support commercial decisions on stock purchasing, pricing, product listing, advertising, delivery, fulfilment, and expansion.
  • Research AI and automation tools that can improve pricing intelligence, product listing, invoice processing, customer service, and business reporting.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to company directors.

Requirements:

  • Experience in market research, commercial analysis, business intelligence, ecommerce analysis, or related work.
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to interpret market data and make evidence-based recommendations.
  • Experience using Excel, spreadsheets, dashboards, analytics tools, Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of ecommerce, digital marketplaces, retail operations, or services.
