Description
The Team Leader is responsible for managing staff and resources to ensure operational and contractual compliance for Bamara in our Inclusive Employment Australia program. The Team Leader will be based in Tamworth and will oversee the Tamworth and Broken Hill region. The Team Leader will oversee and manage the people management strategies, change processes and continuous improvement of Bamara programs and services whilst running a small caseload of their own. They will identify and promote new ways of working to empower staff to deliver on the strategic business plan, create new business opportunities as well as drive the implementation of new programs and ongoing performance in Bamara. The Team Leader supports Bamara to meet and exceed operational and financial targets by developing and implementing strategies to reach and exceed our business plan.
Skills And Experiences
- Proven experience in a senior position within the Employment Services
- Strong business acumen to quickly learn how the business works and how to utilise strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives
- Strong ability to comfortably work towards KPI's and targets in order to meet and exceed performance and financial objectives
- Able to identify opportunities to grow the business through sound financial and commercial judgement
- Inspiring, encouraging, and motivating others
- Leading others by example towards personal and organisational success, through positivity and motivation
- Prepared to make tough calls to move the business forward
- Makes sound decisions with a defensible rationale
- Future orientated and aware of the implications of decisions and actions

- Certificate IV in Employment Services (preferred but not essential)
- Diploma of Quality Auditing (preferred but not essential)
- Proven experience working with government contractual obligations and guidelines
- Must pass and have a current Police Check (ongoing requirement for employment)
- Must pass and have a current Working with Children Check and/or Vulnerable Persons Check (ongoing requirement for employment)
