Making Possible

The ideal candidate will have strong Time & Attendance domain knowledge, ideally with Workforce Software, and experience working on projects where Time solutions integrate with Payroll systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors / Employee Central Payroll or similar enterprise payroll platforms. This role plays a critical part in ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, agreed, and translated into effective system design and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Requirements & Analysis: Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business requirements for the MyTime Time & Attendance solution. Work closely with HR, Payroll, Operations, Finance, and IT stakeholders to understand current-state processes and define future-state requirements. Produce clear, structured requirements documentation, ensuring traceability from business need through to solution design and testing. Support scope control by assessing change requests and their impact on requirements, processes, and downstream payroll.
  • Business Process Mapping: Document current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) business processes for Time & Attendance. Develop end-to-end process maps covering: Time capture and approvals, Shift patterns, rosters, and schedules, Overtime, premiums, and allowances, Exception handling and corrections, Payroll hand-off and controls. Ensure process maps align with agreed design principles, controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop and maintain clear, user-focused Standard Operating Procedures for MyTime-related activities. Ensure SOPs support day-to-day operations for managers, employees, payroll teams, and support functions. Align SOPs with system configuration, business processes, and control frameworks. Support the transition from project delivery to BAU operations through well-documented procedures.
  • Functional Oversight - Time & Attendance: Provide functional input into Time & Attendance solution design, ensuring requirements are clearly understood by vendors and system integrators. Validate that Workforce Software (or equivalent) configuration supports agreed business rules, collective agreements, and labour regulations. Work with Payroll SMEs to ensure time data outputs meet payroll calculation and validation needs.
  • Integration with Payroll & HR Systems: Document data flows and integration requirements between MyTime, HR systems (e.g. SuccessFactors Employee Central), and Payroll. Ensure requirements clearly define data ownership, timing, reconciliation, and controls. Support impact assessments for changes affecting payroll, finance, or reporting.
  • Testing & Validation Support: Support the definition of test scenarios and acceptance criteria based on documented business requirements. Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), supporting defect triage and resolution. Ensure traceability between requirements, test scenarios, and delivered functionality.
  • Change & Adoption Support: Support Change and Training leads by providing input to training materials and user guidance. Assist in stakeholder walkthroughs of new processes and system functionality. Help drive adoption of standardised, automated processes and reduction of manual workarounds.
