BAM Site Solutions are looking to recruit a Service Manager Plant & Equipment to be based in Wellingborough. Leading a team within Hire Operations, the role will oversee all day-to-day operational activities of a busy workshop internally and externally. Working within the Hire Operations Team to continually improve our safety, systems, processes and provide continued training and product knowledge. Continue to drive our endeavour for excellence in customer service and support our growing client and site portfolio.

Making Possible

  • Lead, motivate and develop the Service Network team, delivering daily briefings to maximise performance and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong customer and supply chain relationships, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved.
  • Manage service schedules for plant across depots and customer sites, ensuring inspections, servicing and compliance requirements are met.
  • Oversee the day-to-day asset management of plant within ACC, including adding new assets and maintaining accurate records.
  • Monitor plant breakdowns, maintain AF14 records and identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance.
  • Ensure customer orders are delivered efficiently, resolving complaints and service issues promptly to exceed customer expectations.
  • Work closely with the Depot Manager and Finance team to ensure supplier accounts meet financial, operational and health and safety requirements.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying innovative ways of working and implementing best industry practices.
  • Lead health and safety activities, including workplace risk assessments, action plans, toolbox talks and quarterly team briefings.
  • Monitor team performance against operational, financial and customer service targets, ensuring objectives and deadlines are achieved.
