Working closely with planners, engineers, and wider project teams, the role will ensure the accuracy, clarity, and technical robustness of 4D models, supporting both tender-stage methodologies and live project planning.
This role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel to Scotland (typically up to twice per month).
Key Responsibilities:- Develop high-level and detailed 4D models using Fuzor and Synchro 4D which are linked to the P6 programme, ensuring accurate sequencing and logic.
- Coordinate with planners to align the 3D model with the latest programme updates, identifying clashes, sequencing issues or constructability risks.
- Produce 4D visualisations, simulations and digital rehearsals to support health & safety reviews, logistics planning, and stakeholder communication.
- Validate construction methodology through 4D (temporary works, access, lifting operations, interfaces, phasing).
- Maintain and update 4D models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy of planned vs actual where required.
- Support RAMS, site briefings and toolbox talks by preparing clear 4D sequences for critical/high-risk activities.
- Assist in ensuring that the models are suitable for achieving the goals, objectives and targets described in the BIM Execution Plan or Project requirements.
- Assist in ensuring that the building information data quality (graphical and non-graphical) and the level of information need are accurate, and the right information is delivered to the client/appointing party.
- Support in generating the digital engineering output in accordance with the projects methods and procedures.
- Be open to receiving support from other production personnel as and when required.
- Share knowledge and solutions related to technical workflows with co-modelers.
- Capture best practices, workflows, lessons learned and communicate it within the project and wider team.
