Position: Groundworker Apprentice – Location: AWE Projects, Reading. Contract: Full time/permanent. Start date: September 2026.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing and levelling construction sites.
- Laying foundations, drainage systems, and concrete.
- Operating and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Following health and safety protocols on‑site.
- Working as part of a team to complete a variety of groundwork tasks.
What You’ll Need:
Academic requirements: GCSE Maths and English grade 5 or above desirable; opportunity to improve during apprenticeship. Must not already hold a similar qualification of the same level.
Additional requirements: Valid driving licence desirable, or willingness to obtain one during apprenticeship. Willingness to relocate for projects; living away allowance and travel expenses paid.
