Groundworker Apprentice (Full time/permanent) – Start date September 2026. Position based on various projects across Newcastle, with some travel and living away expected. What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and levelling construction sites.
- Laying foundations, drainage systems, and concrete.
- Operating and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Following health and safety protocols on‑site.
- Working as part of a team to complete a variety of groundwork tasks.
Upon completion of a Level 2 apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to progress to further learning and leadership training, aiming to become a future Works Manager.
Qualification Requirements

- Must not already hold a similar Level 2 qualification.
Additional Requirements
- Desirable to hold a valid driving licence, or willingness to obtain one and have access to a vehicle during the apprenticeship.
