BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Document Controller to join our Construction Segment, based in Middlesbrough. This is a 12 month Fixed term contract.

You will be responsible for a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Information Management, managing the controlled flow of drawings, models and technical information through the project Common Data Environment (BAM Source/BIM 360 / ACC) in line with ISO 19650 / PAS1192 standards.
  • Focus on managing the flow of contract-led information and process within the common data environment. This includes handling of formal instructions, queries, variations, project registers, general correspondence, and supporting procurement and site administration processes.
  • Supporting the project team to ensure it has audit-ready QA and compliance records with structured ISO-aligned handover and digital project close-out.
  • General Site Administration.

  • Possess excellent computer skills and willingness to expand knowledge of other applications.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a similar role in construction.
  • Preferred user of electronic document management system (EDMS) and live link.
  • Preferred user of BIM/Navisworks, certainly demonstrate familiarity with BIM as a concept and its place within the industry.
  • Excellent level of literacy and writing skills.
  • Good time management and able to commit and work to deadlines.
  • Be a team player, flexible and able to work with others.
  • Excellent communication skills.
