Project Support
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on the design, planning and execution of civil engineering projects.
- Communicate effectively at all levels including site management, technical specialists, commercial staff, planners, engineers, supervisory staff operatives, suppliers, third parties and client representatives.
- Maintain good working relations with client, designer, supply chain and others.
Technical Development
- Develop your technical skills and knowledge in areas such as structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and construction management.
Problem Solving
- Drive quality through effective planning and right-first-time delivery.
- Collaborate with a team of experts to tackle complex engineering challenges and find innovative solutions.
On Site Experience
- Conduct site investigation, surveys and data analysis.

Your Team
Be part of a unique and environmentally significant project on HS2: the Sheephouse Wood Bat Protection Structure. This 900‐metre long, 10‐metre high structure safeguards 13 bat species, including the rare Bechstein's bat, by maintaining essential woodland flight paths alongside a protected Site of Special Scientific Interest. Our team is delivering an innovative precast concrete arch system with passive ventilation, wildlife‐friendly features and provision for future rail expansion. You will work on a technically challenging project that leaves a meaningful ecological legacy.
